How it Began:
From an early age, the waves have captivated me and created a sense of peace I was unable to find anywhere else. My best childhood memories contain countless hours swimming and playing in the sand. One moment, the water can be calm and serene, and the next it can be powerful and wild. This mirrors my own journey through life; reminding me to embrace change and appreciate the beauty in every moment.

I have been fortunate enough to sink my feet in the sand of many beaches, but in 2017 my travels along the Pacific Coast in Costa Rica deepened my love for the ocean and for the Pura Vida life. ​​

​It's all about enjoying the journey, whether your travelling, exploring or simply soaking in the sun by the sea. From the moment of that first trip, I became passionate about showing everyone I knew all that Costa Rica had to offer. I began dreaming of the day I could own a small piece of paradise in this country I fell in love with.

My dreams turned into research and my research turned into reality:
Now, some may call me crazy af, but in 2024 I found myself immersed in the steps on how I just bought 1.5 acres in the jungle with an ocean view site unseen OFF FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE! While most people thought this was a bad idea (which it absolutely could have been), my trustee sidekicks Mykayla and Skip cheered it on and we incorporated a family owned and operated business in Costa Rica, known today as Sixteen.
